Queer Eye star Karamo Brown has revealed that he will be releasing his very own line of bomber jackets very soon.
The show’s culture and fashion expert says his collection will be quite diverse and you will even be able to pick something from it to go to work.
“It’ll be coming very, very, very, soon,” Brown told Variety, with the publication having caught up with Brown and his Queer Eye co-stars at a special Emmy screening hosted by GLSEN at NeueHouse in Hollywood on Sunday.
“We’re starting with a small collection, and it’s going to be unisex. It’s going to be all sorts of patterns from things that are sparkly to things that are floral to things that you can wear to work.”
Brown became the first openly gay black man on Reality when he kicked his career off on MTV reality series The Real World: Philadelphia in 2004. He is currently the host of the channel’s Are You The One: Second Chances but also plays the culture guru on Netflix’s remake of Queer Eye.
Meanwhile, Antoni Porowski, the show’s food and wine expert, has his own thing going on and is planning to reopen New York City’s iconic Village Den. The diner closed down back in May, after 36 years of operation, but Porowski is poised to revamp the joint after finding inspiration in his quest to eat healthy while actually enjoying what he consumes.
“It’s a reflection of what my diet is during the week whenever I’m actually taking care of myself,” he explained. “It started out with my workout club, which is a little group of us who work out early in the morning. We always wanted healthy food to eat that didn’t leave us feeling like human garbage.”
